Budget crisis, e-mail issues await Student Government

Student Government will host two guest speakers at their meeting Friday.
Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs Narbeth Emmanuel will talk about the budget situation currently affecting SIUE. Assistant Vice Chancellor Jennifer Vandever will talk about the e-mail issues experienced by students and faculty in the previous weeks, according to Student Body President Brandon Rahn.
Fees for the FY11 will be reviewed.
Two travel requests; one for the SIUE Ice Hockey Club and another for the Institute of Transportation Engineers will be reviewed for the maximum $675 allotted.
Two program requests will be presented as well. The SIUE Gospel Choir is asking for $1,303.95 to attend their Reunion Concert, and the Recreational Sports Advisory Council is requesting $3,334.38 for their 8th Annual Parti Gras.
Student constitutions for the Math Club and the Cycling Club will be reviewed as well.
The meeting will take place at 2 p.m. Friday in the Goshen Lounge in the Morris University Center.
