Expect the unexpected
IFC fraternity to host 3rd annual drag show Sept. 11

The performers work for free, only taking home the tips they make from audience members, according to Maberry.
"Each year we have made connections," Jacobs said. "Now we can call upon them whenever we are doing a show and they are willing to help."
They have more performers this year than in the past, seven queens and one king, (a woman who dresses up as a man), according to Maberry. He also said they sometimes have amateur performers who will join in the show but were not recruited to perform.
"This is going to be the biggest show we've ever had," Maberry said. "We have professional performers come in from St. Louis."
The show will be at 7 p.m. Sept. 11 in the Morris University Center's Meridian Ballroom. Tickets are $7 at the door or $5 in advance with a donation of two canned goods.
There may be a surprise performance, but people will have to attend the show to find out, according to Maberry
