The Student Experimental Theater Organization will be performing the Jeff Goode comedy "Poona the F**kdog and other plays for children" March 29 through April 2 for its annual fundraiser. All performances are at 7:30 p.m. in the Metcalf Theater. Tickets are $5. Children will not be admitted. "Poona the F**kdog" is directed by Brock Hill and entirely student produced and performed.
"This play is like a fairytale for adults and is unique because it brings a sense of child-like innocence back to adulthood," Assistant Director and Stage Manager Becky Sass said. "There are many innuendos that only an adult would pick up on."
This production has become quite controversial, especially amongst some professors. "We are even having a hard time keeping our flyers from being torn down," Sass said.
